Since the park is being funded largely by public money, and has been helped so much by local volunteers, we push that people should make use of it wherever possible. Hosting an event is a way of bringing our community further together, as well as taking full advantage of a park that is owned by you – the public.

The Park has previously been host to family fun days, with great activities like archery, painting, and climbing. Guided walks have also taken place, where can you truly educate yourself, and others on the ecology of the park, as well as volunteer projects like tree planting and litter picks.

Once the clean up for the park is complete you could even host sport days, easter egg hunts- or anything else that will make use of our ten hectares of green space.

Please note, in order to host an event at Peel Park, you will also need to gain permission from Salford City Council for hosting an event in a park.
