Salford’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans plus (LGBT+) Pride celebration returns for it’s 8th year.

This year The Pink Picnic will return to the newly developed Peel Park. The FREE family friendly event will feature the main stage with a full lineup of artists to keep guests entertained, community stalls, food/drink vendors, outdoor games and activities for both adults and kids.

Back by popular demand, the Campest Picnic Competition and the Pink Pooch Pageant return to this years event. #SalfordPride2018

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To ensure that everyone has an amazing day at The Pink Picnic 2018 we ask that you read the information below.

This year the event returns to Peel Park, the postcode for the Park is M5 4PD. There will be free parking across the road in the Irwell Place Car Park for guests and there will also be a limited number of disabled parking in the park for guests with a blue disable badge.

We do not allow disposable BBQ’s on site, Gazebo’s are not permitted to be put up in the event space unless you gain authorisation from the team. Any children under the age of 14 are to be companied by an adult, on the day guests maybe asked to have their bags searched for security measures.

As the weather is predicted to be hot and sunny we advise guests to bring suncream ☀️🌞 and plenty of water, there will be bottled water provided at the first aid tent if anyone has any problems. Please remember to bring a dog bowl and water for your pooch 🐕🐩.!!
